Parking and VIP Parking:
To ensure a stress-free event, we encourage you to be parked by 5:30 a.m. Road closures begin at 6:00 a.m., and University Blvd at Hwy 59 will close from 6:15 a.m. until after the race has started. If you arrive after 6:15 a.m., you are too late to participate. Cars will not be able to exit the university until approximately 7:30 a.m., after the event begins and participants are on University Blvd. Cars will be held from exiting the campus for long periods of time as runners return to the finish. Parking will be on the university campus. There is one entrance for VIP parking and one entrance for all others. VIP participants, parking passes and directions will be emailed and distributed at packet pickup. If you’re planning to drop off a runner or walker prior to the event, drive past the VIP entrance and drop participants at Sugar Land Memorial Park. There is a sidewalk to the event.
There will be no race day parking at the University of Houston campus for spectators until after 8:00 am. Best viewing areas: Park at Sugar Land Memorial Park. Park at Fort Settlement Middle School. Spectators may not follow participants by car. University Blvd. will be closed from Hwy 59 to Commonwealth from 6:15 am – 7:15 am.
